A brilliant weekend for South Shropshire MCC rider Tom Minta winning both round 6 and 7 this weekend. This now put’s Tom tied for the championship title with Dan Thorpe.
The video below shows how on form Tom was as he was the only rider to clean this tricky section 11 on all three laps on Saturday at Hook Wood.

Next SSMCC trial is the Long Mynd road trial.
SSMCC’s next club trial will be held on the 22nd May at Ragdon Farm, Ragdon, Church Stretton. Postcode for the event will be SY6 7EZ.
The trial will start at 10:30, will have all the normal routes as well as being a round of the Midlands Centre Youth Championship.

Reserve list riders have been informed that they are reserves for the trial. If there are any riders that drop out prior to the event Mark will be in contact to offer the place to people off this list.
Roll on August 13th & 14th…..
SSMCC is very happy and overwhelmed to say that the entry of 130 places for this years event are now filled. With the event filling in just over 24 hours we have been amazed by the response from riders and observers alike.
There are still reserve places available to cover off any late withdrawals. The entry form will be left on the website for a few more days and entries can still be sent in but these will be for the reserve list only as the main event entry list is full.
A list of all successful entries and riders on the reserve list will be published ASAP so that people can arrange accommodation and travel. Please keep and eye out on the website and Facebook page.
South Shropshire MCC is pleased to release the Long Mynd Road Trial entry form for 2016.
The event will be held over the 13th and 14th of August, with the route including challenging sections throughout the scenic Long Mynd area.
Please be aware that the entry is limited to 130 riders and is filled on a first come first served basis. Do not miss out on your opportunity be quick.
The first South Shropshire MCC club trial of 2016 was held at Lower Darnford on the 28.02.16. This venue has been used previously on the Long Mynd road trial but this was the first time it had been used for a closed circuit club trial.
