After the 130 entry limit for this years Long Mynd Two Trial filled within a couple of days, there will be many people waiting for the start list to be released…..well the wait is over!

Please take notice of your start and finish time for each day, noting that the entry sets off in reverse on the Sunday. Time penalties will be applied for anyone starting or finishing late.
With the trial still a couple of months away, training will be in full swing for most! We look forward to seeing you in August.

The next Novice and Beginner Trial will be on the 22nd June at 2pm. The venue will be Hamperly Farm which will be signposted off the A49 from Marshbrook. We look forward to seeing you there.

All entries will be checked to ensure the rider has a valid ACU license, if there is no license the entry will not be accepted.

Thank you to all that attended this fund raising trial, helping raise money for Barry Furber as he takes on the Isle of Man TT this year. We wish him well and will be following his progress during the event.

Following Johnny Brittain’s sad passing the funeral will be on Monday 25th March at 11am at St Peters Chruch, Ellastone, Ashbourne, DE62 2HB. Once again RIP Johnny.
South Shropshire MCC would like to pay tribute to the late Johnny Brittain who sadly passed away last Thursday.
In the last few years Johnny along with his brother Pat kindly came to officially start the riders for the Vic Brittain Trial in South Shropshire. The trial named and in memory of his late father who won many events in the 1930’s.
Johnny was born in 1932. From 1948 -1965 Johnny had won many trials including the Scottish Six Day, British Experts, & Scott Trial. Johnny also made 15 appearances in the International Six Day Trial, now the ISDE, winning a total of 13 gold medals in the process.
His most famous machine a Royal Enfield registration HNP 331 is on display in the National Motor Cycle museum in Birmingham, taking rightful place along side many other motorcycles with a lot of history.

Please ensure that you know your start and finish times, as well as knowing which section you will be starting from.
Refueling during the trial should only be done at the start field. Riders will pass through the start field when following the route markings from section 18 to section 1.
