South Shropshire MCC’s next trial will be on the 21st May at Womberton Farm. There will be the four standard routes – Expert, Inters, Clubman and Sportsman.
The venue will be marked with arrows off the main road between Leebotwood and Church Stretton.
With a 10.30 start this is a cracking venue and all the sections are based up a long rocky gully, with some lovely rooted banks thrown in for good measure. There will also be a conducted route as well for the little ones and First time riders.
Julias tea van will be in attendance for hot food and drinks.

If you are on the list but cannot attend please let us know ASAP. We have a reserve list with people eager to start!
As we get closer to the event we will confirm the final start list and give any additional information needed.
Thursday night the entry form went live on the website and pushed on Facebook too. The following day 55 entries were delivered by hand! On Saturday morning, the very happy postman turned up with well over 100 entries. With a rider limit of 130 place, this is full and additionally the reserve list is also full.
Mark will be in contact shortly to confirm the lucky riders straight on the riding list and will also confirm if you are on the reserve list.
Again thank you to everyone, we are overwhelmed with how quickly the event has filled in the last three years. We’re prepared for another brilliant weekend in August.

SSMCC are pleased to release the 2017 entry form for the Long Mynd two day road trial.
This years event will be held on 12/13th of August and will again comprise of an excellent course, brilliant sections and beautiful Shropshire views.

After a brilliant days action, the results for the 2nd Round of the ACU Acklams Beta Ladies and Girls British Championship Trial can be found below.

With the second round of the ACU Acklams Beta Ladies and Girls Championship Trial fast approaching we have the final entry list and programme available to view and download below. A copy of these will be sent out to each rider ahead of the weekend.
Please remember that during the early hours of Sunday morning the clocks will go forward by one hours (the start of British Summer Time), we don’t want anyone to miss their start time!
As well as the day of the trial being mothers day, during the early hours of Sunday morning the clocks will go forward by 1 hour for the start of British Summer Time.

For anyone attending the second round of the ACU Ladies and Girls Trials Championship who would like to camp we suggest going to Walcot Hall, Lydbury North. This is site is roughly 6 miles (by the most direct route) to the venue.

South Shropshire MCC will be holding the second round of the ACU Acklams Beta British Ladies and Girls trials championship on the 26th March 2017.

This trial will be held on ground not used for a SSMCC championship trial before, it is a compact ground making it good for spectators and riders.
